My name is Cindy, and I am a third year pre-vet student unofficially majoring in applied mathematics. This year, I’m serving as co-executive director for the mentorship organization, Latinas Guiding Latinas. I’ve been volunteering at animal shelters in LA since high school and feel it is important to protect the welfare of all sentient beings. This year, I’ll be leading the site to Kanab, Utah, and I’m especially excited for the impact it can have on volunteers without any animal welfare experience.
